Renting? Use It For Credit

Each semester families are devestated at the news that they are not able to obtain a Parent Plus Loan for their child in college due to unfavorable credit scores. When they are not approved for the Parent Plus Loan they are encouraged to get loans like the unsubsidized Stafford loans — which are not based on credit history, but do require that interest is paid while students are in school.

If you are currently renting where you live you can now boost your credit score by turning your "crisis" -your credit score "into credit" when you pay your rent each month. Better credit scores can give you more options for student loans for college and save you money now and later. To learn how click HERE.
